Shangyang Primary School is located in one of Yiwu's most remote ancient villages, Shanyang Village in Chi’an Town. The school is a pilot school for the integration of special and regular education in Zhejiang Province and a teaching and inheritance base for Yiwu root carving, an intangible cultural heritage. However, it has faced challenges in providing music and arts education due to the high cost of purchasing musical instruments. This donation of music classrooms brings hope to students, allowing them to realize their artistic dreams and aspirations in music.

Tongxi Primary School is a newly established privately operated public schools, with most students being children of migrant workers who have settled in Yiwu. To improve the quality of education for these new Yiwu residents, Tongxi Primary School plans to use the donated music classroom to offer public piano lessons. These classes will also be available to teachers and students from other schools for children of new Yiwu residents, thus helping meet their educational needs and enhancing their sense of happiness and well-being in their new home.

During the donation ceremony, students from Tongxi Primary School performed a chorus of “My People, My Country," singing with clear, pure voices that expressed their love for their country.

The children’s heartfelt gifts and sincere words conveyed their love for music. We hope these children will one day play the piano with joy, like Lang Lang, and use music to bring warmth to other children who also yearn for musical experiences. We believe they will grow up healthily and happily under the nurture of musical arts.

The SF Foundation, supported by SF Express, is a national non-public fundraising foundation registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People's Republic of China. It primarily engages in educational grants, disaster relief, and major illness assistance, among other philanthropic activities.

This collaboration between two core philanthropic projects of these foundations will undoubtedly generate greater goodwill, helping more children grow up healthily and happily. This shared mission is at the heart of both the SF Foundation and the Lang Lang Arts Foundation. We look forward to partnering with more kind-hearted individuals to extend warmth to more regions.
