The joyful and heartwarming youth variety show “Youth Periplous Season” concluded its second season. The Spring Tour Family, consisting of guests such as Lang Lang, Jia Ling, Fan Chengcheng, Yang Di, and Zhou Shen, experienced numerous surprises and touching moments during their travels, bringing joy and warmth to the audience.
In the latest episode of the Yunnan journey, Lang Lang, representing the Spring Tour Family and in collaboration with the Lang Lang Arts Foundation, donated a “Happy Keys” music classroom to Jincheng Seventh Primary School in Kunming. This initiative aims to support music education for rural children and hopes to raise awareness about the development of arts education for rural children.
In the program, Lang Lang mentioned that since the Spring Tour Family members are all concerned about the music education of the next generation, his wish for this trip is to donate a music classroom on behalf of the Spring Tour Family. He hopes to plant the seeds of music and dreams here, allowing them to accompany the children as they grow happily, witness this heartwarming journey, and create beautiful memories for the Spring Tour Family.
The donated Jincheng Seventh Primary School is located in Jinning, the ancient capital of Yunnan and the hometown of Zheng He. Originally a rural primary school in Jincheng Town, Jinning County, Kunming City, most students came from surrounding townships. With urban development, Jinning was upgraded from a county to a district, and the school moved into spacious new premises. However, due to a lack of supporting teaching facilities, it still struggles to meet the children’s needs for developing their interests and hobbies. The arrival of the “Happy Keys” music classroom can provide rural children here with better conditions for learning music, allowing them to freely explore the world of music and fully develop their talents and potential.
The first batch of children to experience the music classroom excitedly sat at the pianos, tentatively striking the keys to produce notes. Watching their confident "performances," it might be surprising to realize that many of them are touching a piano for the first time.
The children’s love for music and the light in their eyes reaffirm our belief that this music classroom will open up a broader stage in their lives.
We believe that this music classroom, carrying the beautiful expectations and blessings of the Spring Tour Family, will accompany the children as they grow happily, learning and thriving under its guidance.
